Microsoft Power Platform Technician- Position and Responsibilities

As a Microsoft Power Platform Technician with Middough, you will be responsible for providing technical support and guidance to the Power Platform and Power Automate users. Additionally, in this role you will be pivotal in designing, developing, and implementing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform tools such as Power Apps, Power Automate (Flow), and Power BI.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Develop and implement custom solutions using Power Apps and Power Automate using knowledge of Microsoft Office admin portals, Power Automate, Power Bi, SharePoint list and integration between Word and Excel.

  • Streamline the current MS Power Platform processes to improve work processes and efficiencies by building flows, power apps, and integration with many parts of Office 365.

  • Support and assist team members to build and incorporate improved business analytics processes using the Microsoft Power Platform.

  • Resolve Level 2 user requests (across the company) within the IT ticketing portal based on company turnaround and completion accuracy requirements to ensure a successful user experience.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical solutions.

  • Stay up to date with the latest Power Apps and Power Automate features and trends.

  • Other IT responsibilities as assigned.



Education, Experience and Skills

The successful candidate will possess the following:

  • CompTIA A+ Certification and/or Associate's degree required.

  • Certifications in Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps) such as Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals or Microsoft Certified: Power Platform App Maker Associate preferred.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with Microsoft Office 365, suite of Office 365 applications and administration portals, and data integration between Word, Excel, and other Office 365 applications.

  • 3 years of hands-on experience in developing and implementing solutions using Power Automate and Power BI with proven track record of building automated workflows, creating dashboards, and reporting solutions.

  • Hands-on experience in a work environment with SharePoint, Power Apps, IT security, and integration with Office 365 applications.

  • Experience in streamlining and improving business analytics and reporting processes.

  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues within a ticketing system.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to multi-task and be highly organized.

  • Excellent attention to detail.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • This position requires the candidate/employee to possess and maintain a valid driver's license in their state of residence.
