Job Description

Scheduler - Onsite - Osceola, AR

Position Description:

The Scheduler works with the Project Team to create and update schedules on a weekly basis. Schedulers will develop monthly reports for long range project goals and provide analysis and proactive suggestions for improving project delivery.

This is an onsite position that will last approximately 24 months+ based upon client requirements.

Essential Functions:
  • Develop schedules in Primavera and resource them by project roles.
  • Ensure engineering schedules adhere to Middough and client guidelines.
  • Update schedules as necessary, typically weekly or bi-weekly, and forecast changes in critical path.
  • Provide analysis and proactive suggestions for improving project delivery.
  • Email engineering schedules to the appropriate client Project Controls scheduler (both P6 file and PDF) and discuss or answer any questions.
  • Maintain and update Client Deliverables spreadsheet based on new and revised schedules, projected finish dates by team, and actual issue dates.
  • Email Deliverables spreadsheet weekly to client Project Controls Manager.
  • Assist in other Project Controls duties when needed.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • High school degree or equivalent
  • 5+ years scheduling experience using Primavera scheduling software (P6).
  • Experience on engineering and construction projects. Metals field experience preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Analytical, negotiating and interpersonal skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

In addition:
  • Overtime may be necessary as workload’s dictate. This may include weekdays, weekends and/or holidays.
  • The job will generally be performed at the Client's production facility or industrial/construction job site and could last for extended periods of time. 
  • May require occasional overnight travel to another client location/facility or the home office.
  • Conditions will vary at each location, but the conditions listed above will generally apply.
  • When working outside Middough’s office, appropriate safety training and safety equipment will be provided by Middough and/or Client, as required.
