Functional Role Description:
The Marketing Manager is responsible for all activities related to conceptualizing and implementing market strategy and achieving marketing targets. The Marketing Manager serves as the lead marketing person in the Company, providing leadership in the area of marketing program/tools development, communications and public relations. As such, the Marketing Manager prepares materials to explain the Company’s current and future marketing strategies.
Essential Functions:
Supports the annual marketing plan and strategies of all business units and provides appropriate resources necessary to achieve system and goals of each business unit.
  • Provides leadership and support to the design, development, and implementation of a standard electronic marketing program.
  • Oversees and provides direction to the development of proposals, SOQ’s and related business development/sales materials.
  • Provides leadership, direction and management of the market research function.
  • Creates a system-wide marketing reporting function that can track, measure and analyze performance of marketing efforts.
  • Ensures all marketing communications are coordinated, support marketing plan objectives and are an effective expenditure of resources.
  • Provides input and support to the Company’s leadership in the development of marketing communication systems and programs
  • Coordinates marketing efforts of business units through a standardized program of marketing and business development products and programs.
  • Provides marketing skills and expertise to the Company by building, developing and managing a marketing team capable of executing marketing strategies and tactics.
  • Participates in professional societies and activities related to the AEPCM industry in general and the marketing profession in particular.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • 15+ years experience in a marketing leadership role for an A/E or other large consulting company with multiple office locations
  • Undergraduate degree in related discipline
  • MBA degree
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Broad functional experience in the areas of planning, marketing, business development, market research and planning, promotions, and public relations
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products

  • When working outside Middough’s office, appropriate safety training and safety equipment will be provided by Middough and/or Client, as required.
