Document Control Supervisor

Position Description:

Responsible to collect, organize, maintain, and check project documents and perform clerical duties per client policies and procedures. Control the release, storage, tracking, and distribution of project documents.

This is an onsite position that will last approximatelty 24 months+ based upon client requirements.

Essential Functions:
  • Coordinate drawing and as-built returns to client document control vault (EDMS).
  • Quality check as-builts vs. redlines.
  • Determine if redlines require other drawings to be updated.
  • Ensure quality management of the document control system.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ year experience in similar or related field.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Understanding of office procedures and document management.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

  • frequently use up-close vision, distance vision, depth perceptions, and the ability to adjust focus.
In addition:
  • Overtime may be necessary as workloads dictate.  This may include weekdays, weekends and/or holidays.
  • The job will generally be performed at the Client's production facility or industrial/construction job site and could last for extended periods of time.
  • May require occasional overnight travel to another client location/facility or the home office.
  • Conditions will vary at each location, but the conditions listed above will generally apply.
  • When working outside Middough's office, appropriate safety training and safety equipment will be provided by Middough and/or Client, as required.
