Chief Financial Officer
 
Position Description:
 
The CFO is responsible for planning, developing, organizing, implementing, directing and evaluating Middough's fiscal performance. The CFO is also in charge of Middough's long-range financial planning, as well as managing the budget process, analysis of budgets, and financial reporting/management.
 
Essential Functions:
 
  • Plan, develop, organize, implement, direct and evaluate the organization’s fiscal function and performance.
  • Develop and provide timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial reports and trends in order to assist the CEO, President, the Board and executive team in performing their responsibilities
  • Evaluates and advises on the impact of long-range planning, introduction of new programs/strategies and regulatory action.
  • Provides analysis of budgets, financial reports and financial trends in order to assist the CEO and Senior Management in performing their responsibilities.
  • Develops, implements and enforces policies and procedures of the organization by way of systems that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the corporation.
  • Provides technical financial advice and knowledge to others within the financial discipline.
  • Participates in continual improvement of the budgeting process through education of department managers on financial issues impacting their budgets.
  • Provides strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting Middough.
  • Optimizes the handling of banking relationships and initiate appropriate strategies to enhance cash position.
  • Develops a reliable cash flow projection process and reporting mechanism that includes minimum cash threshold to meet operating needs.
  • Reviews, evaluates, advises on any contracts that Middough may consider prior to signing.
  • Evaluates the finance division structure and team plan for continual improvement of the efficiency and effectiveness of the group and provides individuals with professional and personal growth.
  • Responsible for the direct supervision and performance of all Corporate Departments.

Skills and Qualifications:
 
  • Qualified candidates will hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance (MBA preferred), with CPA a plus.
  • 20+ years of experience in a consulting or service industry environment.
  • Must be well organized, possess excellent analytical, communication and leadership skills
  • Proven experience with staff supervision, ADP payroll, Oracle financial systems and MS Office software.
  • This position is a key contributor to the company’s financial decision-making process.

  • When working outside Middough’s office, appropriate safety training and safety equipment will be provided by Middough and/or Client, as required.
