Job Description


The Architect collects and prepares data/information, performs basic architectural designs and assists with the development of client reports that address project requirements. The Architect I assists with the development of technical specifications and data sheets, performs technical evaluation of bids, and recommends best value design which meets client requirements for operability, reliability, maintainability and safety.

Essential Functions:

  • Generates CAD drawings (orthographics, plans & sections, and isometrics) to support Designers.
  • Assembles and maintains tracing flat files and record/reference sticks.
  • Runs and stamps prints.
  • Establishes simple designs and prepares drawings consistent with good practices, client requirements and conformance to Building Codes & Standards.  
  • Interacts with other departments and suppliers to obtain pertinent information.  

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficient in all standard drafting techniques
  • 5+ years architectural design experience in Revit
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture
  • NCARB or current state registration license preferred
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • May require extended overnight travel to another client location/facility or the home office.
  • Conditions will vary at each location, but the conditions listed above will generally apply.
  • When working outside Middough’s office, appropriate safety training and safety equipment will be provided by Middough and/or Client, as required.
